Adrienne Roberts is a secondary school teacher with the Grand Erie District School Board who works tirelessly to help students achieve their goals and acquire real world experiences in the community. A passionate advocate for public education, she believes that education is a pathway to growth, innovation, and justice. Active in labour rights, she is the VP of her bargaining unit, serves on several committees for the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation (OSSTF), and is an Executive Member for the Brantford & District Labour Council. She is proud to be a 3rd-generation union member within her family.
A champion for change, Adrienne knows what a difference it makes when government invests in the needs of families rather than giving breaks to billionaires. Those who profited the most from the pandemic need to contribute their fair share to support those who have suffered the most during the pandemic. People over profits; individuals over corporations; and empathy over indifference.
That’s why Adrienne is fighting to make life more affordable for hard-working families and individuals. She will work to develop a Grand River of hope for the community by advocating for universal pharmacare, affordable housing, pension protection, student debt elimination, and real action on climate change.
